Everyone thinks that!
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason
It has been a while and I have left this long enough.
So here is the update on the projector headlights.

I did this conversion to my Prelude and it was always the plan to do something along the same lines to the galant from the day we got it.
The difference in these to the ones Swinks dose is we have moved the main driving lights in to the centre of the car and used LEDs for the side lights, we have blacked out the chrome as we did not think it looked good.
Looking good! Good job! :-)
Should of done this a while back.
The Galant that we said we would never get rid of, has since moved on to a new home.
It was a good car, and I know Mazz said she did not like it, I know she did!
I think it was the "What the hell have I just gone and done?!" comment that did it!
with a bit of luck the new owner might carry this thread on.
It was good while it lasted, but onwards and upwards, to more power!
Welcome the RED SUPER!
awesome mod! lot of work. always a good feeling after doing mods that involving wiring that it all works perfect the first time when switching on.
impressive work my friend! can you say me what calipers and disks are that?
thanks
NOT A VR4... BUT IT SEEMS LIKE ONE!
Calipers & carriers are standard VR4 pre-facelift ones. Disks & pads are standard VR4 ones (296mm) - with the 4-stud bolt pattern drilled into it.

im asking because normaly no one do that because it can brake, but if you do not have any problems with that , i will deetenly do that !|
thanks
CAlisto
Quite a few people have successfully done it without any issues.
It's only the hub face you're drilling, not the actual braking surface.
cool! next mod for sure! and i will need the rear disks and calipers too! maybe on ebay ?Originally Posted by Confused
thanks for all mate!
I *think* that the rears are mostly identical, actually!
maybe not because the rear disks normaly are normal not refrigerated. me thinks!!Originally Posted by Confused
