I have a plan !!! may not work..... but I'm trying.... very, some might say

I'll start the list... not too fussed about the date's as yet, still in negotiation

reason i said those dates to Derek is that the ring is open half day friday , all day sat and sun , and half day mon , so thats lots of track time

Well, assuming all is well here and the VR4 goes back together properly I may finally make it. Put me down too, and I can also offer any support and some accommodation whilst you are over if need be.

Things are looking positive my end, but looks like we have two dates running as almost certainly if I go it will be the weekend of 18th Sept.

Fri 18/9 - 14:15 to 19:30
Sat 19/9 - 13:30 to 19:30
Sun 20/9 - 08:00 to 19:30

The World Series by Renault is also on at the GP circuit that weekend.

Travel out early the Friday to arrive at opening time (roughly) and travel back the Monday.

Ok, not being ones to hang around, I can confirm the Sept trip is a definate and ferry has been booked !

Plans are:

Depart: Friday 18th Sept - Dover to Dunkirk 8am ferry - should get us there by 3.30pm and it opens 2.15pm that day

Return: Monday 21st Sept - Dunkirk to Dover 2.01pm ferry

The ferry is a mere £37 return at the moment with Norfolkline - to give you an idea the same crossings with Sea France is £84 and Channel Tunnel £112 !

Hotel TBC at the moment.

Myself, Andy (The Vee) and Wayne (WL) are all confirmed - and will be boys only this time

I guess you won't be passing by us as you follow the Belgian route that comes out further down. We'd be looking at the Saturday or Sunday and I imagine I'll only do a few laps. Will need to sort some contact details for you all so we can arrange meeting nearer the time.
If any of our Continental members, or UK for that matter, want a place to stop for the night so they can get involved then please let me know as we have room to spare, we are approximately 90 minutes from The Ring.
