    4WD rear side window decal/sticker

Does anybody by chance have one of those 4WD stickers just lying around and if so would you be so kind as to upload a scan of it? I'm missing mine but am planning to get some cut, so I need to copy & provide the design.

ASA says they are separate part numbers for left and right, don't know why. What could be different?

    Cheers!

You are right, there ARE two parts, left and right. As for the difference - dunno? Perhaps the edge where it meets the angle of the glass is cut slightly differently?

Having left and right stickers makes sense, if you put a left sticker on the right sticker it would be going the wrong way

Odd, I tried to pull up the part numbers for each one. The right side one says *NO DATA*, but the left has the part number MR339001.

Camskill will get them, I would have thought.

Still not convinced they are different. You need to clarify 'wrong way'. After all, they still read "4WD" on both sides, just that on the driver's side, the 4 is nearest the tailgate, whereas on the passenger side, the D is nearest the tailgate. I don't think the stickers slope in differing directions?

I'm sort of with Dave on this one - but I've left mine on for now (along with the COTY badge & the club vr-4 sticker on the inside of the smoked glass for that subtle look - everything else has been debadged). I might replace them or remove them next time I wash it.

A few places do them - japan parts have them for £6.99 each here (+p&p from Japan)

I'm off round to Dave's now with Max Power sticker book to bling up his car.

Aren't they italicised towards the front of the car: i.e. they will be italicised in different directions?

So if you ever get towed for illegal parking or summat you wont have any comeback as there were no markings to indicate a 4wd system?

Is it a requirement to state on the car that it's 4wd ??

What do saloons have as this sticker is 'wagon only'

The saloon has the 4WD sticker in the middle at the bottom of the rear windscreen.

The other one is MR339002 but as there is no data it may be discontinued

    are you serious about this.

If you don't specify your car is a 4WD and it gets towed and they completely trash your transmission by putting it on a front wheel tow jig you have no come back.

where did you find this info.

i don't believe i have seen a 4WD sticker on EVO or a subaru, or a range rover for that matter.

Generally they go on a rear wheel towng jig to negate the handbrake issue do they not? ie front wheel running on the ground in reverse

i havent a clue on the comeback legality on a trashed transmission, I am kind in favour of giving the 'towing operator' every chance to do the right thing and call in the lifter!!. Okay EVO's are known to the majority that they are 4wd, BUT a Galant / Legnum VR4??

Today in Nottingham i saw the parking enforcement truck clearing a street in prep for roadworks i presume. One Saab on the low loader and a Renault Megane being jig lifted to the rear.

I do remember an article on GTOUK that stemmed from 3Si about making fresh batches of 4WD warning stickers for your windscreen.

Id rather have the 'did you not see the 4WD sticker on the window as the manufacture intended' argument in court rather than relying on the operators in depthcar knowledge

Thanks for that! Hmm. They look identical. Perhaps that's why one of the part numbers has been removed, someone at Mitsubishi figured out they were both the same thing.
