    Thumbs up

my last quote from a tien rep was £80 plus parts on the refurb front.

i have a refurb sheet somewhere i will dig it out.

this one is for an american tein dealer but i am sure you will have to fill one of these out when you take them to a uk dealer.

This price was for both sides or just one?

    6 years on..

Not taken them off and give them a complete look over.. Just reached under car and gave a rear shock with a damp cloth! Plenty of drown chips as would be expected after 6 years. But no rust showing whatsoever

Here's to the next 6 years

looking good glenn whatever you used to coat the body of the shock with, it worked a treat.

what are the threaded lock nuts, what are they like?
They are the bits that take the hammering with road salt and muck.

    Taken down to bare metal.

    6 coats Cold Galvanising Spray
    6 coats of primer
    6 coats of gloss black
    6 coats of clear lacquer
Haven't checked the rest of the shock, but will be going under there soon to sort exhaust and underseal. Will report back then.
