    when you refit the belt you can not get the correct tention in the belt from the front cam down to the crack unless you rotate the crank back by one tooth, fit the belt and then turn the crank forward to where the alignment mark is. both the crack and the cams will be at the alignment marks.

    the tention in the belt is now correct. other wise the bit of belt between the front cam and the crank will be loose.
