    Question Radiator Fan electrics

In the process of removing my radiator, everything is disconnected except for the wiring to the radiator fans. The workshop manual does not indicate anything special about disconnecting them, but they won't budge can any of you who have gone through the rad removal task shed any light on what I might be doin' wrong. I'm assuming I only need to disconnect the three-way plug with the two thick wires and one diddly thin one, as the second plug is just the bridge to the right hand fan motor

There is a clip to push on and it should just slip off. The clip is underneath so not easy to see. You can remove the small one after the rad is out

It is easier to lift the radiator up to see how the clip is designed, then pull it out.

Push the clip underside and rock the connector from side to side... It will give up after a while...

I did that and it did give up as it went ping over the engine bay. Guess the plastic was aged hardened

Heat and age hardened... It was in pretty bad shape, I guess...
