    'Dump' valve

    anybody had experience of the the Forge 'Splitter' dump valve?..been looking at a few on the net and they are priced quite reasonably.........around the £100 mark..............

    Also around the £100 mark and less is the Amber Performance/Nomad dump valve, think i paid £80 for mine!

    Great value for money!

    i've purchased from Amber Performance before......bought a Ti stainless exhaust good service from them...............is the dump valve you mention a straight replacement like for like or does it operate like the forge adjustable for dumping to atmos and also to recirc........................

    Its a straight dump to atmosphere....less to go wrong!!!

    i was lead to beleive that straight to atmosphere could cause stalling issue's.....do you have any problems in that way?.............

    anybody have a pic or link direct to the one we need?

    also doest it come with a fitting kit?

    i take it we need to blank the re-circ pipe?

    I blanked mine off by turning the standard valve other way round !

    i've seen shiny alloy blanking plugs of different sizes on godd old e-bay..........

    I can make alloy plugs to order if you let me know what size the id is of the tube/pipe.

    The Amber Performance one comes with the correct blanking plug. No stalling issues whatsoever.
