    Trax - 6th Sept 09 - Silverstone.

The full international circuit, 0-60 timed sprints, and lots of chavtastic plastic!

    TICKET SALES NOW CLOSED!

    Trax Web Site

Advance tickets are £15, tickets on the gate are £20.
£30 gets you a 15 minute session. Order as many as you would like, but I would suggest an absolute maximum of 4. You will be on track with 49 other cars, but to be fair Silverstone is a large circuit and you don't realise how many cars are out there with you. This is a great track for beginners - the tarmac is very wide and there is a lot of run off area. I personally think this track suits the VR4, as the corners can be taken at high speed when you find the right line. As the track is so wide, it can take a while to find the right line though! I know some in this club don't agree with me too.....

So, get buying! I am cutting off ticket sales on 12th July, so don't leave it too late. As always, advanced tickets will give you a space on the club stand.

    PAYMENTS RECEIVED:

1: Atikali (1 entry ticket, 3 track sessions)
2: AncientofMu (1 entry ticket, 3 track sessions)
    3: Mark4 (2 entry tickets, 3 0-60 Sprints)
4: TAR (3 entry tickets, 1 track session)
5: Nick Mann (1 entry ticket, 3 track sessions)

Why wont CVR4 be booking slots? do you mean a whole track session? Thats understandable.

if we all book direct then we will all be spread out over different sessions...

Will CVR4 be organising the track tickets so at least we can all get in the same session?

I understand we probably wont fill a session.

I understand Peoples distate at Trax, it isnt exactly my cup of tea either, but I do think CVR4 should be represented there.

And the circuit is VERY good for new trackers, being so wide.

We have an awful lot of new members joining recently should we not wait for the response to this meet before condeming it??

Sorry if I've misread the undertones in you're post Pete. Just wanted to start a discussion and clarify the situation.

Just to drive Silverstone, let alone that feeling as you put the power down sweeping onto Hangar straight.....you can almost hear Murray Walker...

Lets all get booked onto the same session!

Yeah Don, slightly misunderstood my thoughts which were that CVR4 won't be booking a "private" session....don't think we ever have at Trax.

Now, whether Nick can even book a certain number of slots in the same session I have no idea - no doubt Nick will answer that later. I would imagine he could easily enough.

It was my poor wording mate.

Edit: Just looked at payments made for last year and with some of the amounts people paid they must have paid for track sessions direct to the Club.....so I think that answers that question

I will be organising club sessions and I have organised four before now.

There is no need to book all four as I can ask for say, three cars with four sessions, two cars with three sessions, one car with one session etc....

I personally will be thinking about two or three, I won't be doing four! But just post up what you want so others can see too - I'll put tickets in the shop with the ability to buy as many track sessions as you feel the urge to.

Sorry Nick, I didnt understand what you meant there

I'd be up for three separate track sessions on the day if that's what you were asking.

I was trying to say -

I will organise club track time. It will not be exclusive, but we will go on track together.

If people shout out how many sessions they would like, then others will be helped towards their decision too.

    My poorly worded example could be better described using letters to denote random members, so lets take members A, B, C, D, E and F. A wants 1 session, B wants 3, C wants 2, D wants 4, E wants 3, F wants 3.

So, sessions W, X, Y and Z will have for example:

    W - Member D
    X - Members A, B, C, D, E, F
    Y - Members B, C, D, E, F
    Z - Members B, D, E, F

    Does that make more sense?

I'd be up for three & when will the tickets & sessions be going up for sale?

Would the 0-60 sprints be pay on the day or can you organise that as well?
