are they not a two piece unit you have linked to? i thought all the JDM's were a single unit light and signal?

It's quite easy to convert projectors from LHD to RHD - you just need to turn the shield around.

hmm...I very much like those headlights from ebay US.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-03...Q5fAccessories

If you see the pictures you will recognize that they don't fit properly on an USDM Galant (see the gap between fender and frontbumper. So I assume they might fit our cars.

Has anyone an idea what is different between JDM and USDM headlight/fender/frontbumper? Any to show?

I think the ebay ones are USDM spec. The indicator area is narrower.

The JDM and Euro spec ones are all the same height along the light fitting until they curve at the indicator. The USDM ones have a small angle and get shorter along the front face as you approach the indicator.

Ok, I'll try posting some clear headlight pics...

USDM Galant... Paint-shopped to show what I mean by a shorter front face by the indicator

    Euro spec Galant

    JDM Spec Legnum
    http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/uploade...1237665816.jpg

Doh, how do I get the second two pics to show up here!?!

The front face on the Euro spec and JDM spec are all the same height along the front face.
The Euro spec has separate indicator and the JDM one is a single unit - which we all knew
And as far as I know, the Euro and JDM lights are interchangeable? The USDM ones will probably fit but you will be left with a gap between the panels!

They do appear to be two piece ones, however as I have two piece now they are exactly what I need. In fact I prefer the glass fronted two piece units.

    Here's what you wanted :

Just wrap the part of the url from 'uploaded' in IMG2 links for example pic 1 above is

    Hi Atik!

Thanks for the pics. JDM and EuroSpec headlights are interchargeable. Have done that to get my Legnum street legal in Germany

So you mean that the indicator might fir but you will have a gap to the bumper?

Yep, mine too. I had to get Depo standard LHD lamps and indicators for mine which fit although the quality means they don't fit perfectly.

I bought an extra set of RHD VR4 lamps to convert but I mught just sell them on and use the money to buy some of those above as I already have HID bulbs.

I just had this email back from Depot lights!

''hello if i can get sales of at least 8-10 people i can do the lights for $250 shipped to each person. shipping is per item so it would not matter if it all went to one person or if it went to the different buyers, i have them for your cars let me know how i can help, they are built to order and you can choose what color of halos (white, red, blue, yellow, green, purple) you want and either hi or lo h1 or h7 projector to be installed thanks.''

    Thats a good price

Mike, I'm not sure I am after the same as everyone else, I'm not even sure what specific ones are being discussed. I was after twin projectors to match out standard bulbs but I don't the orange bit in the indicator. I have two piece lamps now with clear indicators and don't want to go back to the orangey bit. I'm also not so keen on the halos as they are a little last year, however, the ones built into the projector lenses look OK.
As per my first post the ones best suited to me are http://depoautolights.com/mitsubishi...f08d3455af16fa
If the genuine VR4 ones are available as twin projectors and no orange then they would be OK too. I also need mine to be built in LHD mode, not RHD, and shipped to Germany.

After some thought and as much as I am not particularly a fan of the 'angel eyes' on anything other that an E39 5 Series, I will be wanting to go for the dual halo dual projector lights in the JDM Spec single piece light fitting.

Hehe, it is confusing as the descriptions and information for some are nearly identical to others.
