Well we now have a blank page on pressing F5 on OzVR4.....
which either means where getting close or we're not....
No, it means you check ozvr4.com way too often
... so do i
Check out the shaft I snapped:
Pretty impressive work I must say
Ow, nice work on that shaft :O
In other news, for those in the Victorian Yarra Valley cruise tomorrow, does anyone have the address of the starting point in Diamond Creek @ 10:00am? I'm ducking out for an hour or so rotating wheels and the like.
Oh, and picked up the current RalliArt pit crew shirt today as well to mark the occasion.
Cheers!
6 K launches will do that paul....
excuse the p
it's shafted
I fitted starting fitting my RDA slotted rotors today, the attached picture is of the left (passenger) side. On the box it says it's the left one, and it looks OK to me.
But I remember reading something that slotteds were supposed to look 'backwards' when properly fitted. Can anyone else who's fitted these please confirm that what I've done is correct for the RDA brand rotors please?
Yes correct
I found that video I wanted to post before as a thank you for taking us in!

Oh and yes, those discs are correct
LOL @ Paul and the VR4 affairs crew.....
thats a debut screening isn't it???
That was a fun cruise.... we'll have to do that one again...
Hey BuzzPuppy, it's the Caltex servo on Diamond Creek Rd. near Yan Yean Rd.
See you there!
More accurately I believe it is the carpark next to the servo.
Thanks for the info Mookers, see ya in 8 hours
It was awesome, I can't wait to do another like that...well...when I fix my car I can't waitOriginally Posted by Kitty's VR4

Car goes back together tomorrow
Nice work, Paul - are you just using a stock shaft or a strengthened one?
Possibly strengthened, I'm picking up a new shaft from a guy around the Sydney area tomorrow morning. He does all sorts of gearbox/transfer case stuff for my mate's ex-ralliart friend (if that makes any sense at all lol).
It'll greatly depend on the cost, he told me a brand new shaft is about $250, he has a good second hand one (in his words "might as well be new") for $125. So I'll find out how much the strengthened ones are, and if he has any. If he doesn't have one then I can't as I need the car back on the road tomorrow night.
I will let you know how I go though, it will be a good option to know about nonetheless.
Well I had an exciting Sat night and made this:
Christchurch
NZ
Haha KB, cool video of the Southern Highlands cruise. That HKS exhaust of yours sounds beautiful
I can't believe that was back in January.
Man, the year has really flown past us.
Hey Lee, that looks really good. Was that your first attempt?
Check this out, the first one is a facelift Legnum base you can use...
And the second one is what can be achieved with a bit of tweaking...
(Click to enlarge, as the shrunk versions look crap)

Yeah, first attempt. I used a base from http://database.mangacars.fr.
pixelart.com also has lots of big images of rims and things for modding.
Sweet. Thanks for that link
We're all back from the Victorian Cruise (thanks to Chris for leading the way)... details to come.
One slight casualty (rock wall smack), with stones wedged between the rim lip and tyre sidewall but panels are fine but a deep scratch or two. Won't say which car yet!
Awesome day out!
