    Another stoopid newbie (EBC) question

Hi there, and thanks for reading this.

I just read EBC fitting quide and I have one quick question about it.
The location of new boost solenoid (valve unit with Greddy profec B specII).
Basically you just put it like this, and block that one hose?? Of course remove all those hoses not needed... but not 100% sure???!?!?!??

Does the heat from engine have some kind downside regarding that (new) solenoid, thought it would go nicest to the same location as the old one...

Ideally, the solenoid needs to be mounted to the bodywork somewhere high up (away from water) and away from any high temperatures and extreme vibration.

Generally, rubber mounts are a good idea, as they damp the noise of the solenoid.

My preference on other cars has been directly above the wheels on a suspension tower: it's a very dry area and tends to get decent airflow to keep it cool.
