We started out at Botany Downs, then did a cruise to Eastern Beach. After a little bit of time looking at DickyTims sound system, we had to leave, because the rain set in.
Oh !! to live in New Zealand, & not bloody Sheffield !! :wall:
I know. Did you know that Auckland has Ocean Beaches in the West (more for surfers) and the East (Ideal for waders and swimming). Also, the 2 waterways are seperated by only 1 mile at one place in the middle of Auckland.Originally Posted by interlec

While we may, be green, sand and sun (and rain, to keep things green again.) You have culture, history and tradition. While you can easily find man-made 5,000 year old objects, we are lucky if we can find 500 year old ones.
Each country has it's strengths and weaknesses.
BTW: My wife and I loved Oxford, when we there, and plan to return for another holiday is a few years.
