A Hello from a Legacy GTB owner...

    Hi Peepz,

I've met a few of you at Sunrise09 and Japfest 09 so i thought i'd logon and say Hello again...

I own a very smart Legacy GTB, i was going to buy a nice blue Legnum VR$ before the leggy but the parts availability and pricing put me off. I might still get one anyway, just for the fun of it.... but in white though....

    Anyway, Hi....

The pillar-less windows on the GT-B are very cool, wish ours were like that - although the rain shield looks kind of "out there" on it. I also don't like that antenna recess in the body of the car. I imagine it would look kind of silly when deployed.

I don't the GT-B's or B4's are bad looking cars at all.

Yes the pillarless windows are quite good, but when you get used to them and get out of a car without them watch your head! The 'rainsheilds' are what jdm is all about, if you think they are bad wait untill you see the 'parking arial/light' that some jdm motors come with.

Take a hammer to any car window and you'll be in easily, bottom line if they are that determined they'll take it....

No, just VOD, but you get used to driving around the VOD, the trick is to keep secondary spooled up and let the revs drop into primary teritory, bit of a drivers car eh... lolz

Of course why not, both cars are pretty decent and surprise a lot of other cars on the road. The only advice i can give is go for white (its the fastest colour).

Very very nice car, but if you want an auto, the Vr4 takes it every time.

we'll never get to the bottom of this one but i think that an extra 500cc, AYC and no VOD should technically, on paper at least be a winner everytime...!

As i said on paper and technically

We will. My VR4 beats my mates GTB hands down everytime

But welcome, and glad to see you have the appreciation that both cars are very good in their own respect. Except the VR4 is better

Love the GTB theres one going round carlisle at the minute and its Stunning.

Have to say prefer the legacy looks from some angles. Obv not the front and back as the Vr4 tops that no problem, but some of those back 1/4 veiws are very nice.

Both great cars, havent driven a GTB would like to to see how they compare.

    I can't see why they didn't make a twin turbo H6 3.0. I'd get one of those!

Well there's a guy not too far from me who can confirm that on various occasions leggy has had the edge over his VR4, but as i said but one thing which does really bother me though.... why are these things soo hard to get big power from?????

Okay then i suppose i could always get a stagea but they are soooooo ugly!

I mean i know the designers of VR4s didnt bother finishing off the front and back and thought they could pull off the luxury speedracer thing with the interior but the stagea has to be one of the most ugliest cars out there, mind you it looks good with the R34 front end and the VR4s look best in white or maybe grey and thats it! They arent worth a second look in any other colour imho.... lolz

Only kidding guys,,,, i got it in for german cars big time so i couple of legnums arent going to bother me..... lolz

Great cars though, i think my driveway would be complete with a nice white VR4 so my Leggy has someone to talk too....lolz
