lol. the plan was to rebuild the old box and convertor... maybe sell it maybe up-rate it with longer input splines and better shifting

Is there an auto fluid filter on the box that it would be wise to replace too?

Newer boxes have internal filters, older ones have a filter on the top of the box. Looks like a regular oil filter.

ok. it would be an older one with external filter so will have to get one along with the seals... man i wish we had a mitsi dealer in town not 30 mins away

You can get the filter from other places. I got my last one through an amsoil dealer here in chch. I THINK they have one that fits at repco etc. I'm just not sure which one it is.
