    I have one.

You are supposed to clean it and re-oil it every now and then (I think K&N spec every 50,000 miles or so!). But shorter re-oiling intervals appear to be sensible. More for peace of mind, to be honest.

No, the ralliart filter is a dry foam filter. Do not oil it.

The K&N one is a mesh filter that has to be oiled.

what brad said, I have a Ralli////art one and all you do is blow them out with an air line every 10000 miles or so
