    18" alloy wheel options/opinions?

Okey dokey, i'm currently on the hunt for some 18" alloys for my dad and i've got a few in mind to show him. He wants black or darker wheels than he has now and he quite likes the idea of a red rim ().

They need to fit a standard facelift car, standard height with Brembo's front and rear, the need to cost under £600 for the alloys to leave apporximately £400 for some new tyres too, tyres can't be anything sh!te.

What do folks think of these (Listed in order of Upload)

    Inovite DTM
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 S
TSW Trackstar 5 - Inovite Sparkle - Lenso Reizen 2

As for tyres, I know people rate the Falken 452's so i'll see what he thinks to them, but does anyone have an opinion on the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta? It looks a good tread pattern and is very competitively priced for a 225/40/18.

Cheers John, the group buy is limited to a 30 offset so I don't think it'll work.

Anyone know of other 18" alloys that fit?

I have some 18" staggered Inovites on my Supra now (2nd hand virtually new bobby bargain ) and I'm very pleased with them

Only thing I would say is that the ride is not as good as with 17's which I will be sticking with when it comes to track work.

All I can say is get some Evo 7 17's (must be a few about at good prices ?) - they fit over Brembos on a VR4 and look great - pics on Jane's thread about being back in the fold.

Don't know if this helps or confuses the issue ???

Must admit Heath has a very good point when it comes to wheels on these cars I would stay with 17's for go and 18's for show

Don't tell me, I think he's in a permanent state of mid life crisis, he's 57 FFS!

Anyway, he's ordering some Pro Race 1.2's with the red stripe and an offset of ET40, I'll let you know what they look like.

I've got a set of those Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on my car. They feel and drive fine, not had any moments with em, but not really had anything else on the Leggy to compare them with yet.
