Can't edit my posts

I went back to an older thread (silicone Radiator hoses ) but there is no option to update the first post. Is there a time limit on edits??

Yes there is Louis but a mod can do it for you

Just wanted to stick an update in the first post to say they had all been sent out, no problem, it's just that I noticed that there was no edit option on my posts, (didn't know there was a time limit, but I can understand why), cheers Louis

Yep, there is a 40-day (IIRC) limit on editing posts. I believe this was brought in to reduce the likelihood of someone leaving the club and being a bit spiteful, i.e. deleting the content of their old posts, including articles, etc.

And I've edited the first post in the thread for you!
