    Connecting telecoms cables.

Due to me being a muppett I've damaged the telecoms cable that feeds into my office. It is a 4 core cable and I need a joiner that I can then bury under ground. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

What about just using heatshrink sleeving??

or maybe if you feel you want something stronger, maybe something like this?

Yea, that's the kind of thing Matt but it's for Steel Wire Armoured cable. I need one for the hairs breadth telecoms cable.

You may need to wrap it up in a watertight container though, or just seal it closed with silicone.

Dude - that's f**king awesome! That's exactly what I need - got home pissed one night and accidentally cut my phone cable (long story) and now it's just sitting twisted together wedged underneath my fruit bowl so it doesn't pull apart.

    Thanks!

edit: Hmm, will this work on internal phone cable??

Yeah it will work on internal phone cable, just line the wires up on each side... there should be smaller joiners around just for phone cables. You do need something to push the cable into the slot hard enough to pierce the cable and hold it... maybe a sharp knife will do if you can't get the proper tool?

They look perfect. I'll have to find someone in the UK who stocks them.
