    Legnum Project

Well I thought I would start a project / worklog thread for my Project.

I have a few new bits on the way, so thought I would start to strip the thing down to pre-emp all the bits arriving.

The car has gone from this:

    To this:

Found a few worrying things that I thought I would post, Should the water pipes look like that and that seems to be far too much oil from the back turbo for me.

Dont know, but everything is going to come off and be powder coated, so will all be shiny.

I think either the rocker cover or head gasket may have gone on the front bank, not sure yet.

Tmorrows plans consist of taking off the exhaust, downpipes and maybe the transfer box if im feeling brave.

Just to strip the thing down, do everything I should have done months ago and bring her back faster, better, harder, stronger.

Going to give the interior a makeover too.

Basicially, its going to be a show car for next year.

Right, been a while since the last update so I thought I would add my progress so far.

Sent some of the bits off to a company to be powdercoated, just got them back today:

    Yes, its candy red.

Its going to hopefully be the theme for the car, all the hoses will be black or red, the strut brace top and inlet manifold are being polished.

Im also planning to get the Brembo's done the same color when I get them, and the interior should be black leather with red stiching.

Hoping to get the dash done the same colour when im done with the fibreglass.

Look forward to seeing the final result.

If you get this right it should be a very nice looking Leggy.

Good luck with the rest of the build.

    Hi
    Mega project - Respect.

If there is an instrument cluster going I'd be interested.

    Thanks

Had some more bits arrive today......

Also got the strut brace and Inlet Manifold being polished.

Then its just a case of fiting the FMIC, piping and putting the engine bay back together. Going to doo all the boost hoses at the same time.

Looked at all the bolts I have, just hope I can remember what goes in where
