    2005 US Import Galant For Sale...

    Just spotted a 2005 US import Galant for sale on eBay - located in Ireland.

    It's a left-hooker - but for someone in the club who wants to be a bit, or rather a LOT different, here it is!

    Must agree they dont look all that good but 3.8 V6.

    What would that engine be like with twin turbos bolted on it?

    You can still do a personal import.

    If you owned the car for more than 6 months (I think) you can import it if you move abroad. I suppose its possible that a US serviceman brought it with him?

    Those ones that Brad linked to, although not a "pretty" car, didn't think they looked too bad. Seems the front is somewhat redesigned.

    yeah the ones brad liked to are NZ/Australias 380. They replaced the australian built diamante.

    everyone i have spoken to ranks the 380 as a brilliant car. one of my managers (who only drives jags and audis) rented one and said it was one of the best cars he has driven - couldnt get over how good the engine is.

    its down fall was that it was built to compete with the ford falcon and holden commodore. it failed. it is a better car and wont fall apart like a falcon, however it is front wheel drive which isnt great for the boat ramp! if only mitsi used the AWD system from the diamantae in it maybe it would of done better and maybe they would still be building it!

    you need that version (the 9G) but then in the ralliart version.
    looking pretty good and quick for a big heavy car.

    1999 estate V6 running wild.
    building a new vr4 engine.
