There are not many on here with that engine but when they do come online they may be able to help but give them some time

The pistons will be a different compression ratio, the stock 6a12 pistons are 9.5 or 10:1 CR, while the VR-4 pistons are 8.5:1

You could probably get away with running up to 6psi or something like that on your engine without needing to change pistons. If you want to run really high boost, I'd suggest buying either the forged pistons linked to by Richard above, or perhaps swapping in some VR-4 pistons if you are really trying to save money.

Brad is right, if you want to run your 6A12 with forced induction, you'd be better to run either the VR-4 6A12TT pistons or forged items with a lower compression ratio.

you can also get de-compression plates to the desired thickness from ferreday engineering in wales.
