Thumbs up some simple ones for you

I'm picking a galant up next week,
its a 52 2.0 classic its got somesort of standard body kit which leads me to my 1st question
what is this bodykit i'll put pics up as soon as i get em.

what engine is in the thing? codes? i've tried to find them but had no look.
    gearbox? which one? 5spd manual.

where can i find my paint code?

is there an online parts + service manual like servicebox (for peugeot) and this
    for the lexus Is200/300

i'll think of a few more and post up as and when

    thanks johny

If you look on the firewall it will tell you your engine code and gearbox. I think it will be a 4g63 and f5m41 or 42 trans. I might be wrong though, the i4 2.0's don't personally excite me!

Your paint code will be on that plate too. Normally one letter followed by two numbers.

I think you are in luck as the manuals we have cover the non-VR4 completely and member ship would be well worth it for you.

brill! thanks for the answers, i'll join up shortly.

next then , on the test drive i noticed a distinct lack of an induction note,
my 2.0 hyundai coupe has such a nice tone , and also for the size of the back box i was disapointed with the exhaust note.

what do we recomend for induction kits? panel filter replacement? or likewise? etc?

    cheers again

    Well
if noise is more important for you go for cone filter,
if you looking for squeeze little more power go for K&N panel filter

You stated in your first post it has a standard bodykit on it.

there were no factory fit bodykits available as far as i know.

It will have skirts and stuff and my guess is the seller called those a bodykit

    right oh.
i'm very new to this didn't even consider a gallant cos the gf didn't like them (til she drove it) so i'm not as clued up as i usually am with the specs etc

its definetly factory fit so i'll assume its the same as every other
