the weekend had a number of up's and down,from my car breaking down on the up-hill run out off foxhole and comming to a rest on the grass,had to get it recovered at a cost off E100 off the ring and another E200 to the recovery man(millers new best friend,i still say you could have taken him mike)to get it out of the garage,robbing b*^%&£"s.anyway,you live and learn as they say.

Brendan - did you ever try and claim the costs of your recovery back from your breakdown company? If so, how did you get on?

hi wayne......rang a few days later after i got home.......but still fighting with them.....they say they lost the recept i sent them/and should have rang them when i broke down outside aldi shop in adenau ,and have no claim....but i have a copy and put it in the post last week......still waiting repley!!!!

Keep fighting them Brendan, they are trying to squirm out of it. Obviously know they are in the wrong etc.

If they pester you as to why you didnt ring them just say your car was causing an obstruction on the highway and that under pressure you took advice/direction from the Police. Language barrier wouldnt allow and further/sensible discussions!!
