After trawling the CVR4 forum for write-ups, I've decided to go for the Ralliart panel filter for a number of reasons, but despite searching, I can't find where to buy one from!

75 quid - ouch! Hmm... that or K&N for half the price....
What about the HKS one for £30?

I read a lot about the Ralliart and the K&N, but not too much on the HKS - how do they compare? I'm wary of having to oil a filter like the K&N, as in the past I've simply been too lazy to bother!Originally Posted by White Lightning
I have a K&N filter going begging now -£20 delivered and it's yours? It's done about 20,000 miles and been oiled reasonably recently! What's left of the cleaner and oil included (about half full - or half empty if you're a pessimist!).

So where do the HKS filters come from?
Whilst I have cleaned and oiled the K&N previously (possibly didn't need it!), I can't be bothered doing it!
And the HKS is another toy to play with. Kind of. If you know what I mean...

I bought mine for £57 from RHD some time ago - obviously when the £/yen rate was way better than it is now.
Reading that link suggests that it's a mildly uprated filter that will still need replacing - is that right?Originally Posted by White Lightning
thats what i wondered..is it cleanable?Originally Posted by Jesus-Ninja
