You may get a giggle At my expense

I pm'd Peter this yesterday but thought I'd post it up. You may get a giggle out of it.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Peter you'll like this one.

My Magnecore leads came yesterday but the wife missed the delivery so they get sent to the post depot at BOD.

I had a wee homer for a friend today so thought I'd pick them up before I go. Remember this is at 8am & I havent been up long.

I get the parcel & open it in the truck. There's only 3 leads in it & I see the numbers 1,3 & 5.
I think buggers they'v only given me 3 so I'm on the phone to magnecore but there close.

I drive away & about a mile away I think maybe there is 2 boxs & they only gave me one so off I go back but no box.

    Now I'm pissed off.

I go & do the homer.

When I got back home Kerry is coming out so I ask her if there was another box delivered she says no.

I come in to the house & come in here I think I'll ask Peter but you were'nt online I think bugger. then I remember about gallvr4's thread (I'll be busy this weekend) where there are pics of his leads & he only has 3.

I take them out the box & there it is the numbers 2,4 & 6 on the other end of the leads D'oh.

I thought there would be 6 but hay ho you learn. So will be fitting plugs & leads tomorrow.

Hope you get a chuckel from that.

    Andy

Yeah, I would have expected the same but the coil packs sit on the front plugs and the leads plug in to them instead LOL.

Where did you order them from and are they the right lengths? I need new leads and plugs but I believe the Camskill ones aren't perfect.

If it makes you feel any better Andy, I cocked the leads up as well - I'd just put everything back together, strut brace - the works...

Tried to take it for a drive with it smoking to oblivion and some cylinders not firing - bloody front of the car was shaking everywhere due to the imbalance.

I thought I'd f**ked the car but managed to coax it around the block and back home where I found PaulC's firing order picture...

Whipped everything off (only 30 mins to do now) and corrected, replaced and all good (phew)!
