Suspension q?

This is for a Galant v6 sport,

when travelling on B roads, at brisk pace, the car seems to lift off over small bumps / rises in the road, INSERT INTO post VALUES (previous cars on the same road did not lift off)

is this because the suspension is too hard or too soft?

will lowering springs make this worse / better?
