    Pulling left

After swapping to Brembos the wagon is pulling to the left a bit. It's been in for alignment twice now and its spot on apparently, yet still pulls left (steering wheel centres off a bit). The Brembo parts came of a straight car, so its not that. The calipers are not binding either. Its not very bad, but on a long journey gets a bit tiresome. Tyre wear is consistent.
    Any more ideas people? Ta.
Possibly the only former owner of Black Legnum VR4 with Manual shift & Moonroof who now owns a Hamilton Silver Galant.

Swap your wheels round. I have had tyres that pulled before even though they looked fine. It's an easy thing to try.

Check temperatures of your wheels immediately after finishing a journey. How can you tell they aren't binding?

Cheers Nick, We did swap front to back and it helped a lot, but with having directional tyres thats all I can do. Maybe I should get them all checked out.

Calipers aren't binding as they are stone cold after a journey.

If your brakes are discounted, it has got to be wheels, tyres or suspension. Assuming (is that a bad thing to do?) that the garage has checked the alignment properly, then the suspension should be able to be ruled out.

If you fancy a trip to Brum, you can borrow a set of wheels for a couple of trips round the block - that'll tell you if it is wheels/tyres?

Agreed, BUT if thetracking has been done, the garage *should* have checked them already!

    Nick, you're killing me...

On two occasions I had no choice but use local garage services. And NEVER track rod ends were checked for play. Even Mitsi one didn't after change lower suspension arms due to recall.
Whatever, rod ends are not expensive, and diy is quite simple, so it's worth to change them every 2 years for peace of mind sake.
