Air con help

Hey all, ive got an annoying (but hopefully easy to fix) problem with the aircon.
When i turn the car on the aircon comes on at 30 degrees everytime i turn the key on. im thinking a fuse or something but want some advise before i start looking.

more likley the aircon control unit , see if you can borrow one of someone near by swap it and see what happens

i can get one from a 96 diamante, it looks the same and everything. Would that work??

Not sure as we don't have them over here
