Moffat meet 27th Feb 2010

After the success of this meet earlier this year I was wandering if anyone would fancy this again.

I was thinking as we did last year meet at the carpark kick a few tyres then have lunch at the Balmoral Hotel where we went last time & for those thinging of coming from further a field they provide very nice rooms at a reasonable price.

I'v set a date so there's no messing about & its the same weekend as last year.

It was a good one last year, and cant believe its almost a year ago.

Will be up for the weekend as it will make a nice little break.

me and the missus are up for this again and we will be staying the nite aswell, not sure wether ill still have the leggy (hopefully will) or my brother inlaws new UNWANTED prize) EVO viii the jammy barsteward won it in a comp from his work (SKY), and he cant drive.

Here's what the owner Peter has to say;

Hello, If some of your members wanted to stay for the Saturday and Sunday night we could offer a 50% discount for the Sunday night. A double room for the two nights would cost £79.50 B&B. We are unable to offer a discount for the Friday or Saturday night as we are generally busy on those nights. The Sunday night discount only applies if they stay for 2 nights. Please let us know if this would be suitable. Many Thanks Peter

Can only stay the one night, I dont think many people will stay the two nights especially sunday, so thats no good.

Can always find another hotel.

Last year we stayed for one night and it was £52 for the night, for two people and that will do for me.
