CVR4 Online Pool comp

Hi All

Following on from the thread I raised from the dead , is anyone interested in joining on a CVR4 pool league .

currently there are two versions being suggested

and

http://carom3d.gameis.com/

if you would like to take part then please post up saying that you would like to play and which version you would like . Also we need to know if you want 8 ball ( uk) , 8 ball ( US) or 9 ball

Best of 3 games is probably a good number as it allows for some quick games

How about Monday @ 9 pm (GMT) as the the playing time and day .(but this can be fixed once we have numbers ) .
I have asked the comittee to sponser this event with some prizes to make it a little interesting

Closure date by Friday 29th Jan , with start date of 1st feb

No Glenn I'm not doing a Poll as it does not allow you to filter by people who actually will play

so if you say yes and the version I will collate the results and it stops people doing the poll and not playing

I like the look of the carom3d, and agree with Glenn to some extent. But the FunkyPool is so accessible!

monday nights are cool for me as unlike nev im confortable admitting im a hermit.

Cant check out either site at work but i aint fussed what evers easier.

Funkypool is fine with me, and prefer 8 ball UK or US. Any night would be fine as I don't have a social life

Regarding the playing night/time etc.....can we not just do the league like we had before, and all games must be played during that week ? Then it's down to the two individuals to arrange a day/time to suit with the rule that if one does not contact the other, or turn up when agreed then they forfeit the match (again like before) ? Could then extend it to 5 games as both parties will arrange a time when they can spare an hour ? All 5 games have to be played (or forfeited) as before also.

I've just tried both and as detailed as the Carom3D one is, I would prefer to play this with the FunkyPool one. I'm happy for any kind of game, but would prefer the yellow vs red kinda game Whatever it is called! lol
