How do we play the fixtures? Set up games ourselves? And what are the individual game rules - best of 3/5, 30 seconds a shot, etc.? Are the results automatically updated somehow?

Wodjno we are up to play tonight at 7pm are you ok with this time ?

I am but dont mind a little later 8ish

8pm sounds better to me as i'll be out n about at 7pm

Rules of the game are simple

1) The two players are to arrange a time that suits both people , if this can not be arrange within the 7 day period then the game will be called a 1-1 draw
2) If one player is unable to play during the 7 day timeframe then the other player will win by default
3) The game shall be UK 8 ball with 30 second shot time limit and it will be over 6 frames , the home player is to setup the round at the arranged time
4) The home player needs to post up the results on this thread within 24hrs of the game , failure to do so will be an automatic loss
5) Anything else to be added

Frame breakdown:

Frame 3 = Alan
Frame 4 = Atik
Frame 5 = Atik

Final frame was a very tight game. Alan could have won had he potted his last ball but it hit the middle pocket jaw and came back out! It left me a nice easy shot to clinch the game!

Just thought - as this is a league, I guess we should have arranged to play something like six games, so that a proper draw is obtainable? Suppose it is too late, now!

not too late at all , the software allows me to enter what ever the result is

do people want the be able to have win or lose , or win draw lose

Obviously, it'll also be up to Alan & Atik whether they play an extra game.

Well, I personally have no problem with replaying seeing as it is so early in the league.

In fact we did actually play an additional frame 'for fun' and Alan won that so a draw was technically achieved and it got me thinking the same. I just couldnt be bothered with asking the question seeing as the league had started.

Well actually if you had looked at the league table it is not due to start until tomorrow to allow for stragglers

I will update the rules to say 6 frames

Atik - totally up to you mate, im happy to say you won or play again, i dont want to call it a draw based on that extra frame we had though as you may not have tried etc knowing the match was already over!
