Anyone local? I need some help sorting out the siren for my alarm system. Willing to repay the favour with beer tokens, or clean your car up when the weather sorts itself out. Dont mind travelling a bit

The siren just doesnt work for some reason. Not had a chance to work out why, but I have no idea where the siren is located etc

Maybe that's why. There might not be one fitted.
Do you know the make ? It could be just a locking remote (if you have one?)

Its the mitsubishi elite 3, with a cobra fob. The manual i found in the resource library mentions that the B button should set off the panic alarm. When I press it, the lights flash but theres no noise. The siren should also make a noise if i try to arm the alarm with a door open, but again I hear no noise

the mitsu alarm siren is normally located inside the wing next to the battery, you can see it next to the battery.

This reminds me that I need to turn my siren back on after installing the stereo cabling last night.....

I've found with prev cars, that they become mute if they get water in them . I'de slacken the mounting bolts at the sides and swivel it. there may be water weather it be from a wash or splashed puddles.

Took the siren out, was bone dry. Fitted it back in but still no noise. Theres a few wires that appear to have been connected to some other wirse that connect to the siren, im guessing they are linked to the tracker. Might try to source a second hand siren and see if that works

Got a replacement siren from psbarham this morning, fitted it in the afternoon and the alarm finally works! Cheers chap!

Although, you were lucky to get away with a simple fix, would've been a nause to rip one out and start again.
