FS: E54A Galant VX-R V6 MIVEC 5spd - yes, another one - Hamilton

ok so thought I would put up a for sale thread for my other MIVEC Galant as I think it's time to move on. Not in a huge hurry to sell but will place on Trademe shortly.

I've had this car since 2006 and it's done me well but time for an upgrade I think.

It's a 1993 model in Lapis Blue pearl, the VX-R sits directly behind the VR-4 in the model range and it offers the same interior and exterior look, same brakes, with about 40hp less, double the fuel economy, and of course only FWD.

The engine is the same 6A12 DOHC 24V MIVEC as found in the FTO GP-X and GP version R, except this variant is MIVEC-MD where it will de-activate the front bank of cylinders when not required (ie idling at lights, cruising on the highway)

The interior and engine are very well-kept however the exterior does show the 17 years of age and the 228,000kms it has travelled.

The engine has been rebuilt at 209k kms
About 12 months ago I fitted new KYB shocks and lowering springs
It has just had a new VR-4/evo clutch kit fitted (so heavy duty for this application)
A four star immobiliser alarm is fitted
Has a Sony mp3/cd/USB/ipod input headunit
Still has the factory wheels (which are unique to the VX-R model) with good tyres
New K&N air filter fitted into factory airbox, pod filter now gone.
Has a tow bar which comes in handy
Climate control air conditioning which still blows ice cold

the car is now sold! I'm going to miss it but I'm sure I'm going to somehow wind up with another one.. I've had four to date already.

sorry Brad if you want a drive you're going to have to ask the new owner haha.. you can still drive the auto one though it's not being picked up until sunday.
