Standard Airbox/intake

Hi Guys

Recently purchased a legnum which has a pod filter installed in place of the standard aribox and intake. Does anyone know where online I can purchase the original item as this mod is not street legal (as it is).

Your Mitsi mean stealership should be able to get a new one, but I think that would be $$$$. Otherwise, see if a breaker comes up.

You could try your luck on OZVR4, if you haven't already done so...


Word of warning though, if someone offers you an airbox/intake off an NA V6, because "it's the same", don't take it! They look very similar, but the entry hole into the airbox from the snorkel is much smaller on the NA, and there is usually a resonator box on the underside of the snorkel which isn't on the VR-4 version, and would possibly interfere with the turbo piping anyway.

Yeah the trouble is there no wreakers for this car in oz that I can find. I would assume there is someone online who does parts for them so I can get this back to stock and then look at an internal pod filter that will pass rego.
