    engine fault findings

    Hey all,
Had to abort the atf change this weekend but should be on next week, fingers crossed!
Thought I'd check why my tcl and engine lights have been on for as while, this is what came out:
    engine light: 12 airfllow sensor13a-11
    13 inhhalation warm air sensor13a-11
    25 atmospheric pressure sensor13a-17

    tcl light: 75 engine ecu13h-9

ayc light: 12 power supply voltage system24-14
    (descriptions from code list)

Also it has been putting out a fair bit of white smoke/vapour, even when warmed up. On starting from cold the idle drops right off then catches again, and the throttle response is slow when cold. Also the idle speed has increased since this started from 700+/- to about 900 now. Other wise it seems to run ok, but I haven't been able to run it properly due to the gearbox.
I assume these things are all related but tbh I have no idea where to start (I don't mind playing with mechanicals, but never got involved with electrical bits before!).
I unhooked the battery last night and will reattatch tonight to make sure they aren't old codes, but the battery came out last month so they should be current.
Are any of these codes so serious as to not run the car?
Is there much I can check myself before it has to go in to a man what knows about these things or am I on a hiding to nowhere?
Any advice much appreciated, as always, cheers.

have a look at the Jap manual. you should be able to download it from the library somewhere.

the numbers on the end of the descrition are the related section and fialtfinding flow chart.

These will be in japanese but if you are stuck then translating thewe with an online translator like babelfish will help

so the first one is 12 airflow sensor 13a (section 13a of jap manual) -11 (flow chart 11).

    Attached below as an example:-

there should be a update to the information in the library soon as i have given a load of info and i mean a load of info to the club/committee. manuals hand books, catalogues etc.

as you are a paid up member of the club i can send you a couple of DVD with this info on.

PM me your address and i will put them in the post to you. free of change.
