    Xenons HID

    they have arrived wish me look in the fitting of them in pooing myself as i never changed a headlight bulb let alone a full xenon instalation

    can i ask why you keep referring to the HID light as Xenon, you can get xenon filament bulbs which are a completely different thing to HID. It is very confusing for people reading your posts.

    So are you just doing dipped beam or dipped and main???? cos with that kit theres only 2 bulbs and you need 4!

    Just dipped, I assume? HIDs are pretty rotten on main beam due to the warmup time and lack of flash.

    But HIDs contain Xenon gas.. the other rubbish bulbs with "xenon filling/xenon look" should be called something else.

    HIDs have been refered to as Xenon headlights since 1986 (7 series) ..

    true, cars with Xenon mains usually have a shutter mechanism, which redirects the dipped to work as Main/hi beam.
