which model of Mintex are they ?
arrrggg not sure mate wasent aware of different models which is good which is bad ?
Thats why i asked which model , chances are they are just basic copies of stock stuff
nah i doubt it mate as its my sister-in-law has just got herself a job at a supplyers hence the cheap price just wonderd how cheap i got em for
That's still a good price for pads even if they offer no performance increase.
The best things in life have to be lubricated
do u know approx mintex are
Yeah it is cheap , hence asking which model as if they are mildly tweaked then Karl could make some dosh by selling them onOriginally Posted by WildCards
No chance of guessing without some more info.
Karl, are their any numbers or markings on them? Mintex 1166's are reputed to be very good.
if its thess ones then they are cheapOriginally Posted by karl r taylor

If there better than standard I would be intrested in a set of front Karl.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space
How To:Contact Committee or Moderators.
im not sure of model yet as said but will defo keep u posted on that soon as they are in my hand
and aboo that will not be a problem mate i will be the guieny pig for all of us im getting front and rear can allso bget disc's not sure of price as a refused em cos they wernt drilled and grooved am i a fool ?
would not go for drilled , groved aren;'t too bad , depends on the price if they are stock disks etc
Stock disc's with upgraded pads will do the job.
so drilled grooved ect are no better than standard
What I'v read on here if your not going for brembo's then standard discs & good bads are just as good.
Drilled discs have a higher propensity to split unless they are very good quality discs.
Grooved discs help to release built up gasses and clean the pad surface but also increase the pad wear rate.
Hard pads will aid stopping, but usually need to get some heat in them to work, you may find you have to brake later to stop better, if you know what I mean.
Camskill drilled and grooved discs have lasted very well for my dad on his Legnum, no issues so far at all.
do u know hao much camskill are and were i could get em from ?
At that price sound like they could be cardboard...
One good use and then they could be FK'D...
IIRC for Mintex pads - 1144 or 1166 worth considering
