Nice car congrats
Nick
lovely as said the exhausts look awesome!
Swish looking car!
May we have some of the interior too please, showing off the seats and stuff?!
:-)
Nice looking car, liking the twin exhaust.
is it just split at the back or is it full twin all the through?
if it is full twin all through there is some serious mods going on with the engine, O2 sensors, turbos, ECU, etc. i have never seen a full twin system done before.
it looks like a facelift as it has the bumpers back and front and the facelift bonnet but it is missing the arch extensions all round.
are those pre facelift alloys?
are they 5 spoke?
difficult to tell with flash reflection on them.
sorry for all the questions, just untested
Bye for Now!
I think it's a Type-S.... (?)Originally Posted by Davezj

Some one will be able to correct me! :-)
Not sure myself but in answer to some of the questions :
Exhaust is split at the back - had it put on last month as original ralliart one fell off. Exhaust is Cat back, having a sports CAT fitted later this year.
Wheels are 5 spoke.
But note this one does not have AYC on it.
Today its having the new clutch fitted, has taken my mechanic 8hrs
Also fitting SS brake lines from Exact with Super Blue fluid.
Currently on the look out for tein coilovers and some new wheels.

sounds good,
but i do have a soft spot for the facelift arch extensions.
You have the correct front a rear bumper and side skirts to fit the arch extension. they will blend in perfectly to the top of the front bumper flare and the top of the skirt flare you can see in the first picture. as the side skirt goes up the back of the front wheel arch it gets cut off square and doesn't blend into the bodywork. if you had the extensions then this square cut off bit would match up with the corresponding arch extension bit and would continue all round the wheel arch and join up with the front bumper sticky out bit (pardon the wishy washy description).
I like the sound of them , where can you get them from ?
nice looking car mate
Come on Dave and Phil, you guys shouldn't try and figure things out like that or post up mis-information!
The car is a post May 2000 facelift Type V manual with silver Recaro's. It will have the silver centre console rather than the yellow carbon and it will have an all black Momo steering wheel. Finally it will have the High Vis dash.
No AYC, no stick on wheel arches, and PFL shape 16x6" wheels with 205/55/16 tyres.
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason
love the info brad.
should have known you would have the full story.
so it comes as standard like that. minus the twin tail pipe.
hopefully i will remember that for next time.
Just don't post at all next time and wait until myself or Kieran come along
Is the correct answer!Originally Posted by bradc
