Are you trying to take it out from the front?

If so, you'll probably find that it is bolted to the radio cage brackets.

You need to take the gear selector surround off, then the dash surround off, and then you will be able to see the bolts where the radio brackets are attached to the subframe. Then the whole head unit and brackets come out together - and only then can you undo the screws holding the brackets onto the head unit.

Yup, I have a double din Kenwood.

Follow instructons as above. You will then see the mounting bracket. You can then access the bolts that secure it all into place.

Note that the mounting bracket needs to be lifted 'up and out' as there are 4 small catches that also hold the brackets down.

You use that message if your hands are too big to get a screwdriver down the back of the cage.

best keeping that as a last resort.
