In Japan it is available with the 4B10 1.8 and CVT trans only which I think it pretty terrible! Why not the 4B12 2.4 and a 6 speed auto, or a DSG?

im assuming that this is the ASX here?
i have driven the 2L MIVEC - not too bad, but its not going to win any races! it is nice to drive though.
If it was me i would be saving a little more money and buying a outlander
Yeah over here we get the 2.0 petrol and a 2.0 diesel. Considering it is the same chassis as an outlander or lancer there is no reason why they can't make a ralliart variant with 240hp or even more from the 4b11t with a dsg or install the 6b31?
Isn't the diesel a 1.8?
