Talking about silicone couplers... Be aware that you will need one reducer 63mm to 70mm, not a 63mm coupler. The plastic intake elbow with 2 vacuum ports is actually 70mm in diameter.
Just save your self nasty surprise...

Might have an interest in these once they're proven on a couple of cars running higher boost. I've seen how much mine bulge under load and wouldn't mind improving the boost holding capability.

Cheers for the heads up, i didnt realise the intake pipe was larger, i just though the last hose onto it flared to sit over it!

70 to 60mm reducer on order now

    Cheers

1st trial fitting this afternoon, one pipe needs shortening by 20mm and an oversight by me means I need to re-order 4 larger clamps.

Early thoughts are, they take a bit of getting on ie sliding silicone onto metal and with the mikalor clamps i very much doubt they will blow off. The silicone seems to grip well on its own before the clamps are tightened. The pipe lengths are so close which is good as it doesnt leave a lot of 'spare' silicone to make up joints.

    Will keep you posted.

and Postman finally arrives! 2.30pm what a joke!

Pic of all three pipes installed. Been for a quick drive and all seems okay, in fact no movement on any of the joints as far as i can see. No leaks, and I would go as far as to say my vacuum pressure readings are stronger than normal. I used to see idle of around 18.5 imhg now its nearer 20imhg.

    Further testing to follow.

Video now added, just a walkaround whilst engine is running

Looks good Mike, are you going to publish a shoping list of hoses and clamps and where to get them from ?
