Please be careful though. These cars are ANIMALS - if you dont respect them, they will bit your head off! And you'll lose your license too!

Thanks for the advise. Previously had a 2 wheel drive cossie and a V70 T5 (ex police). Doesn't make me an expert but sort of know what to expect. I'll take it carefully for while.
Good man - hope you treat each other well!

Why not become a full member of CVR4 and enjoy the additional benefits membership brings?! Information here.
If you have history of cars with reasonable power, you'll be fine. The VR4 probably handles more predictably than 2WD models with slightly less power, so you should be able to enjoy it without too much worrying!
Glad you've got it on the road!
Which meet are you coming to first?

Comparing the performance (from memory) I would say that in a straight line on a dry day the Cossie would outdrag the VR4. It was running higher boost and had a 3" straight through exhaust and was dyno'd at just under 300bhp. The VR4 would outdrag the T5 although it also ran higher boost. However after going round a roundabout in the damp with 2 AYC lights on today, the VR4 would out corner both with out trying. Awsome machine!!!
Too much is just enough.
Glad your enjoying it.
You'll be surprised what these beasts can out drag.
While your cossie is spinning its back wheels in the dry the VR4 wont & you'll be a couple of car lengths ahead before the cossie gets traction.
I nearly out dragged a cossie on the 1/4 mile with over 400bhp cause he could'nt get traction.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space
