Sh1t mate, what a pain in the arse that is
I trust you had suitable insurance cover mate - hope you get it sorted out asap - what did they nick, was it expensive or just ordinary tools ?
i'm gutted! for you mate..
E39 BMW SPORT
Tools cannot be insured in a van, the premiums are more than the tools themselves !!
I was in a "secure" car park this afternoon, along with several other vans & cars. [ security camera cover !! ] but, because the building I'm working on has just had new sliding doors fitted to the front, we have to use the rear entry !! ooh err mrs !! :$ So , obviosly, we were being watched.
Bosch cordless, Makita 110V, & a breaker drill. total about £600. :rolleyes5
checked the camera................ nothing !!! DOH !!
I'm just going to get the glass replaced myself, & avoid increased premiums.
BAd luck, hope the bathtubs drill themselves to death.
Bloody hell! Terrible luck derek! As PeteJ says, hope something nasty (but justified) happens to them!!!
Unlucky mate!!!
Makes you wonder why you bother doesn't it.. the amount of people I know who have had their vans broken into and had stuff taken is amazing, including myself.
We take all our worthy tools into the house every night and luckily the scum around here are aware of this!!! as the time when we lapsed slightly was the time it was done! and it's not like they can see in so they're watching all of the time.
As you say insurance is a complete waste of time.... bad luck mate.
Sh*t Inter ....... I'm sitting here fuming even though it's not my kit. These tossers need some serious 'kicking'.
Sh1t!! Bad luck mate
I must admit I sometimes leave my tools in my van overnight, although it is a real pain if I get a call out in the night and I have to lug them all back to the van (real quietly so I don't wake anyone up :rolleyes5 ).
It makes me mad when we have to do this when good for nothing scum get away with this sort of behaviour all the time :gun1: :gun3:
Everybody just wants to take, take, take and not work for it.
Bad Luck Mate
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
Wa*ke*s Mark's right makes you wonder why you bother. Someone keeps breaking into the carpark at work. They smashed the windows on Marcus' 6G just for 2 central locking bits worth about £20 and tryed to syphon the petrol out - why????? You're right though bout the insurance too you'd need to take out a 2nd mortgage if you kept claiming-skuzz buckets I wouldn't mind but you report it to the police and all you get is a crime number and a letter a month later saying "because there's no evidence etc etc" :wtf: We thought we had them last week cos they came in another way past a camera they couldn't get hold of to disconnect - BINGO not the stupid fookin woman forgot to put a tape in the fookin video recorder  Me and marcus are camping down there one weekend in the back of our van and when they try it they are gonna get a seriously big fookin piece of wood round the back of their mullets and I am gonna get huge satisfaction out of it the barstewards. Phew sorry to get that of me chest :$ - Derek hang in there mate don't let the barstewards get you down!!
And even if the old bill catch 'em and then charge 'em and then actually get 'em into court the silly old f#rt of a magistrate will give 'em community service which they don't serve, and they just go and repeat the offence on some other poor sap. Where's the deterent factor here? None of course. But if you catch 'em yourself and bury that crowbar into their skulls, the old bill will have you in court so fast you'll get a nose bleed.
The law enforcement infrastructure are trying to force joe public to accept a level of crime as a normal part of our society, they even call 'em career criminals, giving this scum some sort of legitimacy. This of course reduces the prison population, again for their own ends. The worst part about it is they're succeeding!
