    key stuck help.....?

    okay just got home in car and key is stuck in acc it will not turn all the way to come out....the car is in park and button seems to be okay on the selector if you switch ignition on and press brake pedal button works as it should any ideas or quick fix

    steering lock is jammed found under lower part steering wheel trim it is white and has a cable running to it.
    it happened to me too.

    Are you pushing the key/barrel in as you try to turn it past ACC? I guess you are, as you've survived this far without the problem.

    Otherwise likely to be the mechanical cable from the gearstick to the ignition barrel that prevents you taking the key out if the gearstick isn't in P. If it has become disconnected, its natural state is to not let you take the key out.
