Thumbs up VR4 Mechanic West Sussex

I've just moved down from Edinburgh to the Chichester area in West Sussex. Is there a good mechanic local who knows how to take care of a Legnum? Also do they do MOTs and if not, who's best to go to for that?
Anyone else in the area? Where's the good b roads?

An hours drive (ish) but I'd have to point you at Eurospec. Check out the traders area.

Hidden in this thread is the end of an era...

Ludolph the Legnum is no longer a Community Estate Car but the sole pride and joy and responsibility of Evil Enda.

    Look after them both!
Believed to be the only Palma Red / Thurston Grey tiptronic Legnum VR-4 driven by me.

...before it went to deepest Englandshire.

Best 'B' roads, A285 up over Duncton Hill and the A29 over Bury Hill. Also A272 Billingshurst to Petersfield and A286 Haslemere to Chichester. From Petersfield, you want to drive up Bell Hill (off the A272) eventually driving through what is known as "little Switzerland" (give some space in front of you and the car in front, so that you can attack the corners fast!!!) leading north-west towards the A32.

We don't have your sort of roads down here, this is the best we can offer. I myself am going off with a friend to Wales!!!

    Not entirely sure...

I've found another couple of potential syndicate partners and there might be a Mercedes E36 AMG Touring going at a nice price - W124 shape, 3.6l 24valve straight6, 5speed auto, 276bhp, ~1500kg - so I might not be without a quick estate toooo long.

Enda's not that evil, if he hadn't killed the previous Merc we'd likely never have got a Legnum, and that would have been very sad...

So will this be the end of seeing Ludolph at the Scottish meets?
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

    I fear it may be.

I still intend to turn up with something fast and interesting though...

Aye, you could be right, I'll probably need a couple of refills to get home.
