black marble centre console

after doing a motorcycle in black marble effect and ghost flames i decided that my centre consloe needed a treat as it was looking rather drab and scratched...........

1.couple of coats of primer

2.a nice coat of Renault pearl black..

3. some AA aluminium(fine) base mixed with a little AA black pearl and a bit of magic..........voila ....marble effect

4.and finally a couple of coats of clear and leave overnight to fully harden before re-fitting..............rather nice ...if i do say so myself........

re-fitted................the cable sticking out is the alarm led ...which snapped,but replacing with new led today.....

Ohhh....er.....hmm......Well done on the quality of the work, but I wouldn't want it in mine. Something about granite \ marble not featuring heavily (ha ha) in automotive materials of choice.

What headunit is that - looks like "DIN-and-a-bit sized" - so it sort of hangs out of the bottom? Does it do SatNav?

i agree with you steve,its not to everyones taste.the headunit is a bit bigger than a single din on the face but is actually a single din and yes it does do satnav and dvd's ............
