where did you get the bonnet?
i do like the bonnet , same colour as mine
is it CF painted?
I got the bonnet from a group buy on here.
and no its not cb, i don't like black bonnets on non black cars so as it was being painted i didn't see the point.
Here are some more pictures of the car after i spent the day cleaning it and i put LED crystal numberplate bulbs in it. (not a great difference)
Im sure you have all seen enough but i'll probably take some more in better surroundings.
And before anyone says it I know the back bumper doesn't sit properly.
THAT LOOKS AWESOME MATE!!!!
Just need to de-tango indicators and colourcode inside the headlights and itll be done!!!! BUT that is one sexual hamilton mate!!

I quite like the orange in the head lights. and colour code in the head lights?
i haven't seen that! or i don't think i have.
It has HID lights,
The V6 badges have been removed and it no longer says LEGNUM on the back but i think i want that back on there???
The only bad thing about the bonnet is it wont shut with the bar that holds it open in place so have had to take it off and put it in the boot, but have ordered the auto lifter kit for it.
Ben, that looks stunning mate. I have an FRP vented on the plans but am still undecided.
But, with regards to the rear bumper not sitting right. It should be an easy fix mate
Open the tailgate, lift up the boot floor hatch area so you can access the bolts that hold the bumper in place. What you need to do is partially undo the bolts, jiggle the bumper around so it lines up and redo the bolts. With these bumpers, there are 4 or 5 plastic tabs on the inside edge of the bumper which the bolts go through to hold it firmly in place. If one of these tabs is 'pinched' in the wrong position it makes the whole bumper sit wrong.

I think I read somewhere about hydraulic bonnet lifters not being suitable for CF bonnets but I don't know if that's the case with FRP. It may be worthwhile checking with the company or if someone on here has experience then perhaps they'll shout up.Originally Posted by kinger
I know that with mine you do have to put a fair bit of force onto the front of the bonnet to get the dampers to move initially (std bonnet). It may be a stress thing that could make them unsuitable but I don't know for sure and I could just be talking out of my @rse as usual!
Atik whack a pic of your headlights up so Ben knows what i mean. Trust me Ben it makes all the difference!!
What I'v read the hydraulic bonnet lifters can crack both CF & FPR bonnets.
Ok thanks i'll look in to that.
Dude that looks pretty nice!! very jelous now!!! Gonna have to get yer ass round here some time so i can take a look!! Thinks a convoy to burger king may be necessary!!
I understand the lifters will work with the CF/FRP bonnets, but you have to be VERY careful - something that you can't always rely on other people open/closing the bonnet to do. I wouldn't do it myself, just in case.
