THE best braking system for the job?

right am uprating brakes now and wanna know what the easiest and best way to do it so need to know what products you guys are running and the difficulties you have encountered
do i go for a caliper change?
an uprated disk?
uprated pads?
all of the above ?
i used pagid rst 130 for a year with standard disks and they were good!
and dont forget the earlier vr4's have dif hubs to later ones
so what to do? you tell me!

Can't comment on the Bozzspeed ones as I haven't used them, and pink is a nice colour, but not one I'd associate for brake pads. Seem quite pricey ??

The best pads for stopping power, both in a straight line and round bends, I have used are the Ferodo DS 3000. Better than the DS2500, but the downside was they were very hard on disks and the dust produced is like metal that welds itself into the alloys.

Couldn't say that having drilled and grooved disks has made much difference.

Just ordered some more National Racing discs and DS2500 pads today, ready to put on after Combe on Monday £215 all in

I have Black Diamond "Combi" discs [drilled & grooved] with Predator pads on the front of my car; impressed enough to go for the same [but only grooved discs] on the rear since they now need doing because the caliper has seized :eek:
