My son has one of these. A bit more expensive but comes with brackets etc.
With an 8GB card he gets an hour plus filming (good quality as well). Mounting points have been allocated on the Scoob for Japfest

The vid had no sound (I hope!), but I noticed that the ones on the eBay link record the audio as well?
Brilliant value!
As Mike has suggested, putting cameras elsewhere on the car may not be a bad idea. As they're so cheap, you could even use them for diagnostic purposes - secure them on the underbody, in wheelarches, maybe even under the bonnet (if the heat's not too much for them).

Just tried it out, got 6mins from a 512mb card.
Youtube gonna take 2 hours to upload that :O
Mine turned up this morning..
I read the instructions
Looked at all the files on the disc
But still haven't a clue how to get it working
please

Wow ! Had an email from WL earlier saying with the file sizes he was seeing that he estimated a 4gb card would get 160+ minutes on it (i.e. you should get approx 20mins from a 512mb). Was your 512mb card empty ?Originally Posted by damien
Might be worth using Windows Movie Maker (or similar) to convert to a different format/file size etc
Yeah, formatted it just beforehand, will have a look at converting.Originally Posted by Spirit
Yep, mine is up and running.
I am going to try and stick it to my dash for the test drive home
Ok uploading a vid as we speak, Movie maker reduced it to 43mb, so took another vid around town, this time 5mins 22 secs filled the card, dunno maybe town had more colour, light, etc. Would upload the town one but my bit of sellotape came unstuck and it ended up a passenger view lol.

Quality is actually better on the file than the Youtube upload.
