For the PFL hubs, not really much out there. The mounting spaces for the calipers on the PFL are an unusual size, so there is hardly anything there.
If you want uprated brakes, just get better pads and discs mate.

cool thanks Atik gutting answer tho
in theory anything that is a bolt on upgrade for an evo 1/2/3 should bolt up to the pfl legnum/galant (caliper spacing is the same up front)
ive had evo1-3 calipers and disks on my v6 legnum 4stud
but them you would need to drill the disks to 5 stud being a vr4,
and thats only if there is a bigger option than stock vr4(294mm) from them? (standard evo 1-3 276mm) dunno whats on offer thats bigger from them
i know some people here in nz did a adapter for evo 1-3 6g vr4 to GTO 4 pots
and that worked well (there no longer FS as it was a 1 off run by someone)
ive seen someone has KAD calipers on a pfl vr-4 ive been searching on members cars to no avail i wish i could find this guy and ask him what he needed to do to achive this upgrade ie: replace hubs ect....
F A O Mr Whitelightening you are the one with the KAD upgrade can you shed some light on this was it a straight swap or did you need to upgrade the hubs ect... ?
For the difference in costs i cant see any more reason to look beyond grooved discs and carbotechs/mintex 1166 pads. Get some super blue fluid along with the stock caliper overhaul.
I never once ran out of brakes ever on any track or road.
Above should set you back around the £450 mark
Mike
Still here somewhere........
Karl - Beastlee is the one who has done it.
Ok this is crazy , Karl to put Brembos on will cost you £600 at most for a good set , to put Kads/ APs / D2/ Ksport on will cost you around £1000
fit some carbotec pads and some decent disks , get some steel lines and change the fuild - should be £350 ish
nice one Mike and NJ think i will do the drilled and grooved root tbh and carbotec pads oh and not forgeting the braided lines and some super blue fluid.
Then i'll get some red calliper paint and some brembro decals lol
i got these off ebay and have decided to go with green pads on the front and standard pads on the back , these should be on by the end ov this week so will be able to tell if there any better than the old standard onesOriginally Posted by karl r taylor
cool nice one that would be great are they these ?

Karl, you can get kits for the pre-facelift and the facelift from KAD. Both bolt straight on. They are expensive though at about £1532 + VAT. They are worth every penny though as they are awesome brakes.
As you know, I have got a pre-facelift but I took the brake kit off a facelift that I used to own and then got the different parts needed to fit it on the PFL from KAD. So, I now have all the bits to fit this kit to either PFL or FL.
I am not sure if you have seen but I am considering putting my car back to standard if it does not sell over the next few weeks. If this happens, the KADs will be up for sale. I will post a link with the details here shortly.

yeah keep me posted mate thanks also be intrested in your Tein Super Wagon Coilovers if no one has dibbed em first
Will do mate. You have first dibs on the coilovers tooOriginally Posted by karl r taylor
edit: Karl ... I have just thought, you do need 17" wheels to fit over the KADs ... have you got 17"s?
thank you mate apretated
i got 17"'s but not keen on em as they tri spoke and are only 7" wide would prefere 8" so can fit 235's on em init
wheels will be a consideration you will have to make when doing the brake upgrade. you have all the info on wheels in one of your other threads don't you.
so the prices nutter put up earlier in the thread, will need to be plus wheels for the KAD's and Brembo's budget for about £400 for a set of evo wheels and tyres.
if i knew the brembo's would work out to be about £1000 to do the convertion then would not have bothered and just gone with the new standard front disks and good pads.
Bye for Now!
You could try Wilwood Superlight 4 pots as a not too expensive option? I have seen them fit under pretty normal rims before..
Hmmm....do we share brake fitment with the earlier Eclipses? Same thing as the early Evo, perhaps - same caliper mount, different disk? If so, I suspect they would happily sell PFL owners a kit.
For a price.
